Development of Fine Components for Medical Biopsy Pliers

Release time:2024-12-29 source:original

Project Background:

At the beginning of the establishment of company, the biopsy forceps used in China were all imported from abroad, which was costly because the operating head of the biopsy forceps was small, the structure was complex, and it was difficult and costly to machine them. The repeated use of the instruments increased  the risk of cross infection.

Problem solving:

The company took the lead in using MIM technology to develop medical biopsy forceps, which reduced costs by more than 95% compared to the original machining method, thus giving birth to China's disposable biopsy industry and helping biopsy forceps achieve comprehensive domestic substitution.

(1) A new type of feeding has been developed and the mold structure has been specially optimized, solving the problem of difficult injection molding of micro components. The wall thickness of the jaw part is only 0.05mm.

(2) has optimized the process route to ensure stable deformation control of the product during sintering. After sintering, the product can be directly paired and assembled

(3) have implemented clamp head designs with various complex shapes and specifications (minimum 1.0 spoon width), meeting the operational needs of doctors under different sampling conditions.
